Ovation , “the destination for all things art,” has launched a Short Film Contest to find the “next American revolutionary film director” in one of four categories — comedy, drama, animation, and documentary. The Top Film and Viewers’ Choice winners will have their shorts air on the Ovation television network during its American Revolutionaries: The Directors event in July 2010, as well as potentially screened at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. All submissions must be under 20 minutes and postmarked by May 7, 2010
